Our Children and Parents


Although children who struggle at school may be diagnosed as experiencing one or several of the following conditions: dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, specific language disorder, dyspraxia, non-verbal learning disability or ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) and anxiety it is through the careful assessment of how they learn, feel and think that appropriate intervention is planned.                                                    

At Pro Ed House School we acknowledge learning differences stemming from a variety of neurodevelopmental and neurobiological causes such as difficulties in attention, working memory, language, visuo-motor, spatial/sequential ordering, social and higher-order cognitive functioning and executive function. Every child is discussed in depth using this framework and individual education plans (I.E.P’s) are formulated.


There is an active Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and parents participate in various coffee mornings, outings, fundraising events, our “new” second hand clothing shop and other activities. We strongly encourage a close link between parents and the school.
